Before a single wall was raised, water access was secured and underground power established. In a region where essential services are routinely treated as afterthoughts, this sequencing is the defining distinction of the project. It reflects a level of planning and long-term commitment that the architecture then carries through with equal discipline. The home itself is an exercise in restraint. Low horizontal volumes sit lightly against the terrain. Steel-framed glazing, smooth Venetian stucco, and a material palette edited to its essentials. Nothing superfluous. Nothing unresolved. The geometry is clean, the proportions considered, and the relationship between structure and landscape entirely deliberate the architecture frames the desert rather than competing with it.Inside, polished concrete floors and an open-concept great room establish scale without excess. Walls of glass track the movement of desert light through the day. Four bedrooms, four baths, each positioned and finished with the same material precision as the whole. The custom kitchen anchors the interior with a sculptural waterfall island and integrated appliances functional and exact. Set on approximately six private acres, minutes from Joshua Tree National Park and entirely removed from density, noise, and light pollution.
