Malibu's Paradise Cove
Paradise Cove, located just off the Pacific Coast Highway and just down the road from Malibu's Point Dume. This area is a very private and gated Malibu mobile home park beachfront community. Located on the bluff above the Pacific Ocean with trails to the sand, these homes feature golf cart friendly streets, tennis courts, and wooded private areas with the luxury of being within walking or golf cart distance from the famous Paradise Cove Beach Cafe, founded by Bob Morris.
This area is known for its great history of being featured in numerous Hollywood films. Its dramatic coastal views, large sandy beaches, and beautiful Paradise Cove pier have been a perfect setting for numerous productions like Gidget, Baywatch, Hannah Montana, Happy Days, X-Men, and many more.
Paradise Cove was originally owned by the Rindge family but was later turned into a mobile home park in the 1960s and owned by The Kissell Company Inc. In the 1970s the homes were eventually sold off individually, the area began to expand, and today it hosts 276 mobile homes. Some of the homes in the past have sold for a few million due to their unbelievable location and sought-after community coastal experience.
Paradise Cove is also the perfect place to take a stroll down the beach. As you walk east towards Escondido Beach you can see some of Malibu's most magnificent beachfront mansions. If you head west, you'll walk under some of the most beautiful sandstone cliffs towards the famous Little Dume Beach. A perfect spot for a surf or just a relaxing day on the beach.
